Vivo has been teasing the Z1Pro for a while now. The company says that this first Z series smartphone will come to India very soon. The launch date of the Vivo Z1Pro is yet to be revealed. Ahead of the launch Vivo has revealed several details about the Z1Pro and says that with this smartphone the company wants to foray the online retail segment similar to brands like Xiaomi, Realme, among others. If you have been following Vivo's journey in India the smartphone manufacturer until now mostly focused on building offline presence. But the situation seems to be changing now.
With the aim to grow the company's online presence Vivo says that the Z series will be an online specific series. Couple of days ago the company revealed that the first Z series smartphone aka the Vivo Z1Pro will be exclusive to Flipkart. This means the smartphone can only be grabbed from Flipkart. Ahead of the launch, a lot has been officially revealed about the Vivo Z1Pro by the company. There are also rumours and leaks making rounds on the web that have revealed several new details about the smartphone almost.
Let's take a quick look at everything Vivo Z1Pro will offer to the consumers when it gets official in the country.
--The key highlight of the Vivo Z1Pro is its hardware. The Vivo Z1Pro will be the first smartphone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor in India. Now there go a thumbs up for Vivo. Having said that, chances could be that the Vivo Z1Pro will compete against other smartphones running on Snapdragon 700 series processor like the Realme 3 Pro.
As far as the performance is concerned on paper the Snapdragon 712 AIE processor is way more powerful than Snapdragon 710 that is now an year old. Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 712 processor beginning this year -- around Feb. We at India Today Tech will review the Vivo Z1Pro in the days to come and believe the smartphone will be a powerhouse.
Meanwhile, Vivo is also touting the powerful performance of the Vivo Z1Pro. The company claims that the Vivo Z1Pro is capable of handling graphics-heavy games like PUBG very well. We will have more to say about the performance of the Vivo Z1Pro in the days to come.
--Another key highlight of the Vivo Z1Pro is its display that includes a punch-hole display. Having said that the Vivo Z1Pro is the first phone from the company with a punch-hole display in India. By putting the punch hole on the display the Vivo Z1Pro aims to offer higher screen-to-body ratio and in turn deliver an enhanced multimedia experience. The Vivo Z1Pro comes with a 6.53-inch massive display with very minimal bezels around. The phone includes a FHD+ panel.
--The Vivo Z1Pro follows the trend and includes a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The selfie sensor sits inside the punch-hole on the display. So far we have seen several smartphones comes with a 32-megapixel camera on the front like the Redmi Y3, among others. We will talk about the selfie camera in details very soon.
--On the rear panel the Vivo Z1Pro includes a triple camera setup. The primary camera of the Vivo Z1Pro includes a 16-megapixel sensor, the secondary camera includes an 8-megapixel wide angle sensor and lastly, the third camera includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor to shoot portrait shots. --Another highlight of the Vivo Z1Pro is its massive 5000mAh battery setup. Interestingly the Vivo Z1Pro battery comes paired with support for 18W fast charging technology. Vivo claims that the Z1 Pro will be able to deliver long-lasting battery life in a single charging. Another interesting bit about this smartphone is that it comes with an OTG reverse charging function.
--Like most Vivo phone this one too comes with funky colours like Sonic Blue, Sonic Black and Mirror Black. All three colours will be available in India.
--In India, the Vivo Z1Pro will be available in three RAM and storage variants. The base model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
--The Vivo Z1Pro comes with bundled with several gaming features like Multi turbo, cooling turbo, game turbo, ART++ Turbo. With these features, Vivo is aiming to offer a seamless and enhanced gaming experience. The good bit is, the Vivo Z1Pro also comes with Widewine L1 support.
What will be the India price of Vivo Z1Pro?
It is worth noting that the Vivo Z1Pro is rebranded Vivo Z5x that launched in China last month. Sources close of India Today Tech have confirmed that the Vivo Z1Pro will be priced around Rs 20,000 in the country. Vivo, however, hasn't revealed any details about the pricing of the phone yet. Having said that, with the Vivo Z1Pro the company will look to take on the likes of recent phones from smartphone brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung, Asus, among others.
