India’s largest DTH Operator Dish TV is taking several initiatives to enhance consumer experience. The DTH operator has introduced a new WhatsApp update service, ‘Help Me Find the Right Product’ app on its website and ventured into Alexa Skill.

Dish TV subscribers can subscribe to the new WhatsApp update service by giving a missed call from their registered mobile number to the toll-free number 1800 375 7878. Subscribers will get to know the last recharge amount, date of recharge, account balance, and additional information like new offers and channel packs through WhatsApp.

The new sync of Dish TV with Alexa will help subscribers to get details of the service on the latter. Either subscribers can set-up their Alexa enabled device and say “Alexa, Enable Dish TV” or they can go to the Dish TV Skill page on the Alexa store and tap the “Enable Skill” button to avail the service.

‘Help Me Find the Right Product’ App can be very convenient for new customers looking to subscribe to Dish TV. This application allows users to choose their TV type, whether they own an HD TV or an SD TV, and then they can define their location. Dish TV will suggest them appropriate set-top box and subscription option-based information along with a channel pack which will be selected based on the user’s residence.
